MINUTES OF THE MEETING  OF THE

SHERIFF’S POSSE COMMUNITY ROAD IMPROVEMENT AND MAINTENANCE DISTRICT

On June 16, 2016  6:00 P.M.

Prescott Public Library, Elsea Room, 215 E. Goodwin St., Prescott, AZ 86303

(Agenda #1)  The Public Hearing was called to order at 6:03 P.M.  In attendance were Noel Gormay, Joe Veranth, and two other members of the community.

(Agenda #2) The proposed FY17 budget was presented.  The budgeted expenditures are as per the previous meeting and the Courier announcement, but a couple of the estimated FY16 items have changed, resulting in a slightly changed carryover and tax levy.  An overview of the chip seal account was also presented.

(Agenda #3)  A call to the public resulted in no comments.

(Agenda #4)  The Public Hearing was adjourned at 6:06 P.M.

(Agenda #5)  A special meeting of the Board was called to order at 6:06 P.M.

(Agenda #6 & #7)  There being no additional discussion of the proposed budget, it was approved unanimously.

(Agenda #8)  The minutes of the May 26 meeting were approved unanimously.

(Agenda #9)  Noel recommended that the next meeting, a walk-around, be in September, after we see the effects of the monsoon.  As far as we know, the known issues on SPT, Weekes, and Wolverton can wait till then.

(Agenda #10)  During the call to the public, Lauren Veranth enquired about the pot holes on the County-maintained stretch of SPT.  Noel replied that after a third meeting with largely unresponsive bureaucrats the best he has gotten is a “maybe in July”.  He intends to continue meeting with them.

(Agenda #11) The meeting was adjourned at 6:16 P.M.
