MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF THE SHERIFF’S POSSE COMMUNITY 

ROAD IMPROVEMENT AND MAINTENANCE DISTRICT BOARD

On May 21, 2020,  4:00 P.M.

2051 Sheriff's Posse Trail, Prescott, AZ.  86303

A hearing on the proposed FY21 budget was held.  As there were no public comments on the proposed budget, we proceeded to a Board meeting.

(Agenda #1) The meeting was called to order at  4:04 P.M.

Attending:  Laura Ross, Shawn Cardinal, Joe Veranth, one other community member

(Agenda #2) The proposed FY21 budget, as published, was approved unanimously.

(Agenda #3) There were no new road maintenance issues.

(Agenda #4) The in recognition of his excellent support of our community snow clearing, the Board voted unanimously to give Leon Dame $250 as a token of our appreciation.  There was no attempt to tie this in any way to his actual costs.

(Agenda #5) There were no questions regarding the fall election.  We appear to have two candidates for the two Board seats -- Laura Ross and Shanen Lacy.  Joe noted that Arizona Revised Statutes permit mailing the Call of Nonpartisan Election to registered households as an alternative to publishing it in the paper, and he intends to do that since it will be quite a bit cheaper.
