MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF SHERIFF’S POSSE COMMUNITY

ROAD IMPROVEMENT AND MAINTENANCE DISTRICT BOARD

May 16, 2023, 5:00 P.M.

Convened at the bottom of the Lacy driveway on Sherrif’s Posse Trail.

The meeting was called to order at 5:00. In attendance were Shanen Lacy, Laura Ross,

and Randy Loemker.

1.) A walk around of the district was conducted. Observations included:

    a. Some significant shoulder damage below the King driveway apparently resulting from snow clearing activities. Will need repair.

    b. The spring at the Sheriff’s Posse / Gentle Breeze intersection has worsened materially in the aftermath of heavy snow and ice this past winter. An action plan will need to be devised along with associated budget. Randy has had conversations with various contractors as well as the County and will share the details at the 5/18 meeting.

    c. General agreement that additional small and medium rocks for shoulder repair and bolstering would be beneficial. Will discuss and vote on specifics at 5/18 meeting.

    d. Several areas where drainage channels along the road need to be cleared of dirt and debris were identified. Two in particular are near the Rivard and Markey driveways on Weekes road.

    e. Area at the Hawk Road/Weekes Road intersection (bottom of Cardinal driveway) is damaged (possible water percolation). Will need repair and monitoring to determine root cause.

    f. Butterfly ridge shows more degradation than the rest of the road. Will discuss further at 5/18 meeting.

    g. More than 50 cracks were identified that should be filled or re-filled.

2.) Meeting was adjourned at 6:05.
