MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF SHERIFF’S POSSE COMMNITY ROAD IMPROVEMENT AND MAINTANCE DISTRICT BOARD

June 28, 2024, 4:00 P.M.

Prior to the meeting, a public hearing on the proposed FY25 budget was held. 

1. The meeting was called to order at 4:07 P.M. In attendance were Randy Loemker, Laura Ross (virtually) & Shanen Lacy, and three other community members.
2. Randy moved to approve the FY 2024-2025 budget as presented in the public hearing which preceded the Board meeting, Shanen seconded. The motion passed unanimously.
3. Randy moved to approve minutes as published for the 5/31/2024 and 6/5/2024 board meetings, Shanen seconded. The motion passed unanimously.
4. Randy summarized the process and key dates for the nomination and election process for new prospective Board members including the July 8 deadline for nominees to present nomination paperwork and required signatures on nomination petitions to the Yavapai County Election division.  Board member terms are 4 Years. If Board seat elections are contested, General Election will be on November 5, 2024.  Roles and responsibilities of new Board members will be finalized after the new Board members are seated.
5. A call to the public added no additional items.
6. The meeting adjourned at 4:19 P.M.
