MINUTES OF THE PUBLIC HEARING AND

THE MEETING OF THE SHERIFF’S POSSE COMMUNITY

ROAD IMPROVEMENT AND MAINTENANCE DISTRICT BOARD

July 12, 2023, 4:00 P.M.

1)   The meeting was called to order at 4:00 P.M.  In attendance were Randy Loemker, Laura Ross, Shanen Lacy, and three other community members.

2)   The FY23 year-end financial report was audited and approved.  It can be found on the web site, www.spcrimd.org, under "Finances".

3)   Randy summarized the latest quotation from Earth Resources, which incorporates extending the pipe fully across SPT -- approximately 20 feet.

      Mobilization:                                   $4,027.00

      Asphalt removal & replacement:    $6,672.00

      Install drain pipe:                            $6,735.00

      Butterfly crack-fill & chip seal:        $8,645.80

      Total:                                             $26,079.80

      Randy moved to authorize himself to spend up to $32,000 for the above projects plus an additional $4,000 on crack repair, transferring money between the two items as needed.  The motion was approved unanimously.

4)   The call to the public elicited the reminder from Lauren Veranth that people will have to be warned about potential disruption to traffic when the work schedule is known. 

5)   The meeting was adjourned at 4:25 P.M.
