MINUTES OF THE SPECIAL MEETING OF THE
SHERIFF’S POSSE COMMUNITY ROAD IMPROVEMENT AND MAINTENANCE DISTRICT
On October 16, 2014 4:30 P.M., on the SPCRIMD right-of-way
(Agenda #1) The meeting was called to order at 4:30 P.M. Noel Gormay, and Joe Veranth were the only attendees.
(Agenda #2) We identified seven areas which could use some ditch and/or riprap augmentation to keep water off the roads and prevent water flow in the ditches from eroding the road edge. These are shown on the map on the following page.
During the next week, Noel & Joe will be seeking bids on the work per the map. Important considerations are that the riprap used be brown to match the indigenous rock and not so large as to block water flow in the ditch or require excessive digging, and that the riprap be set low enough or far enough from the road so that snow plowing won’t push it into the ditch.
(Agenda #3) The meeting was adjourned at 4:53 P.M.
